My holistic approach, focuses on the mind, body, and soul, enabling clients to nurture a more profound connection with themselves.

You have the chance to experience a shift in mindset that allows for a more compassionate view of yourself and encourages you to embody your most authentic self. Therapy is like going to the gym –– a gym that helps you build the muscles to be the most confident, compassionate, and capable version of yourself.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

Designed to help individuals process distressing memories and experiences. During EMDR sessions, clients focus on a traumatic memory while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, typically through side-to-side eye movements or other forms of rhythmic stimulation. This process helps to reprocess the memory, reducing its emotional intensity and enabling individuals to develop healthier coping mechanisms. Learn more.

The Flash Technique (FT)

Recently developed evidenced-based therapeutic intervention for reducing the disturbance associated with traumatic or other distressing memories. FT is a minimally intrusive option that does not require you to consciously engage with the distressing memory. As an adjunct to the EMDR preparation phase, it makes it possible to process memories that would otherwise be intolerable or overwhelming. Learn more.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

After experiencing something painful, being in the body can be difficult. Therefore clients may need to actively re-learn how to feel sensations in the body and discern between danger and discomfort to occupy the body again. SE is a body-centered approach that takes a look at bodily energy created by trauma and seeks to repair and complete the natural cycle our bodies possess to release it. This approach can be helpful for challenging symptoms of PTSD and trauma such as dissociation and hyper-vigilance.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an integrative approach that explores the mind as made up of multiple parts along with a person’s true self. Each part has its own sub-personality with its own roles. IFS aims to heal wounded parts and promote internal connection and harmony by bringing the mind back into balance.

Attachment Based Therapy

Based on developing or rebuilding trust and center on expressing emotion. This approach looks at early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and how these relationships ultimately form the structure of emotional and physical relationships as an adult.

Our first session will be a great opportunity to determine if we are a good fit for each other and your goals. In addition to providing referrals for anything that would fall outside of those realms. If we are a good fit for each other and would like to proceed with recurring therapy sessions, we can discuss this during our intake session as well.
