Fear, anxiety, depression, and past traumas can have an immense tole on the brain and body. You may be left feeling stuck, haunted by the past, and fearful of the future. This can affect your mood, appetite, energy levels, sleeping patterns, confidence, and overall sense of well-being.

Adult Therapy

Whether you are going through a hard time or you just want a space to check in with yourself, therapy can help. I provide a safe therapeutic experience that allows you to explore your feelings and thoughts without judgment. Together, we can get you feeling your best, balanced self.

Young adulthood, referring to those in their 20s and 30s, is a time of transitions. It can be filled with excitement, but also a bit of uncertainty. Together, we can build upon your tools and resources to grow confidence and grace in your personal and professional lives.

Teens are faced with changing roles, academic demands, and social pressure. This can be quite overwhelming, especially when they are still trying to figure out who they are. It can be equally challenging for parents who want to know how to best support their child during this time.

During this challenging time, many universities are continuing with remote and/or hybrid learning. As a result, students’ mental health treatment on campus may have been interrupted without students or parents being aware of alternative plans or resources.

Each person’s reason for coming to therapy is different. Therapy provides an intentional time and place just for you. Time to release everything you hold onto. We will gain clarity and awareness about the quality of the relationship you have with yourself and the world around you. We can identify unkind behaviors, thoughts, and judgments that negatively impact your experiences. Ultimately, we will encourage a shift in mindset and a genuine desire to treat yourself with more compassion.

I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. I have professional counseling and psychotherapy experience addressing a variety of topics such as:

Online versus In Person Therapy?

I offer in person sessions on a limited basis. If you are not able to attend sessions in person in Hermosa Beach, I offer the convenience of sessions over an online HIPPA compliant platform. Telehealth (online sessions) can be very helpful for a variety of reasons starting with if you are unable to come to the office due to distance or schedule. Additionally, clients who are homebound for a period of time due to health issues, may choose to have sessions online. The day of your scheduled session, you will receive a unique and secure link via email to the platform for us to connect through.

For clients seeking insurance reimbursement, please know that not all insurance plans will reimburse for online sessions. Also very important to note that there are circumstances where online therapy is not appropriate and may include clients who:

•Are suicidal or severely depressed
•Are frequently in a mental health crisis
•Reside or are traveling outside the state of California

During our phone consultation, we can determine the best format for your therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment, please call me directly at 323.296.9846, make sure to leave your name, phone number, and the best day or time to reach you. You can also reach me via email or by completing the Contact Form.

Finding the Right Therapist For You

Therapy sessions are designed to be a safe space for you to heal, grow, and empower your inner voice. I want to help you achieve your goals all the while inspiring you to live, learn, and lead with authentic purpose. I believe finding a comfortable match between therapist and client is essential to successful therapy. Whether we work together in the office or online, you will always have my support as we explore challenges and themes that keep you feeling stuck. Starting therapy for the first time or deciding that you could use some support can feel intimidating. Knowing this, it is my mission to ensure my clients feel comfortable and safe. The last thing I want to do is have therapy be an additional stress!

My office is located in Hermosa Beach and I have provided counseling and therapy services to teens and adults of all ages in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, and throughout the South Bay.
