Restore Balance Within: Embodied Healing for Teens & Adults
When we experience painful events, trust in yourself and the world around you can seem to disappear. Hurt and isolated, it is easy to turn to unhealthy choices and coping patterns in an attempt to gain balance and control back in your life. Instead of feeling trapped by your anxiety and past traumas, imagine feeling confident in your ability to control your emotions. Imagine feeling proud to be unapologetically you.
WORK WITH ME
Fear, anxiety, depression, and past traumas can have an immense toll on the brain and body. You may be left feeling stuck, haunted by the past, and fearful of the future. This can affect your mood, appetite, energy levels, sleeping patterns, confidence, and overall sense of well-being.
Whether you are going through a hard time or you just want a space to check in with yourself, therapy can help. I provide a safe therapeutic experience that allows you to explore your feelings and thoughts without judgment. Together, we can get you feeling your best, balanced self.
Teens are faced with changing roles, academic demands, and social pressure. This can be quite overwhelming, especially when they are still trying to figure out who they are. It can be equally challenging for parents who want to know how to best support their child during this time.

Self-care is essential for a balanced mind, body, and soul. Mindfulness is crucial to the act of self-care. Through this practice, we gain clarity and awareness about the quality of the relationship we have with ourselves and the world around us. We can also identify unkind behaviors, thoughts, and judgments that negatively impact our experiences. Ultimately, we experience a shift in mindset and a genuine desire to treat ourselves with more compassion.
The heart of self-care is self-compassion – an understanding, kindness, and acceptance towards the self. Over time self-care will no longer be something you go to when you need it, but something you have already embedded within your life.
If you found yourself here, I would love to hear from you. Do not hesitate to reach out and start feeling better today.
With love, Cat
